New to Good Moves?

Here’s everything you need to know before your first class.

Of course. Every class is multi-level and designed to welcome first-timers. We expect new clients and love introducing people to the method. Everyone starts somewhere and we’re excited you chose to move with us!

Yes! Pease arrive at least 10 minutes before class. This gives you time to meet your instructor, put on your grip socks, review the machine, and discuss any injuries that may require modifications.

For safety reasons, we can’t allow new clients to enter at or after the class start time. No exceptions.

Give it about 3–5 classes. There’s a learning curve with the machines and movement patterns, but once it clicks, it really clicks. Be patient with yourself, strength is built over time.

Yes! Exercise during pregnancy is widely shown to be beneficial and protective against developing perinatal mood disorders, pre-eclampsia, and gestational diabetes. All of our instructors participate in ongoing education with our staff physical therapists to provide clients with the most up to date and evidence based options for movement during classes!

Hear from the people who move with us every day.
